Echo 281WES

Does anyone have any views good or bad on the echo 281WES? I'm after a really lite little ground saw for pruning and a bit of snedding. And at £260 they're cheap as well.

I,ve used one and i liked it and for that money considering getting one for hedgelaying this time

I have it's previous version 2700wes which is certainly light. And would do the job for chipper saw and pruning. If your regularly cutting over 6 to 8inch with it you 'll quickly want something with a bit more punch. Like the 360wes.

Not hammered mine just been used for light carving duty so not sure in terms of durability. Seems Good for the dollar though

I have the 280TES climbing saw and I find it a bit uninspiring to be honest,  despite converting it to 0.43 chain and bar.  It's ok but absolutely nowhere as good as my 2511TES.

I've got a 550xp, ms361, and an ms461 so plenty of other options for cutting larger things. Just want something for light pruning and something for by the chipper.

Buy a Li battery saw.
