There's some sort of baler working on the M25 at the mo - theyve got loads to go at considering it's jsut a few motorway banks - did dseem odd wathcing a forwarder going along the side of the motorway faster than the cars were moving on that side

You'd think they'd come up with better guarding for the tractor, some kind of blade, a new hood for a decent tractor costs an absolute fortune.

Great Idea though those bailers, are power stations geared to take the bails yet?

While were on the subject, can harvesting willow be good for a forage harvester? me not think so long term! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kh04jdxIlQ&feature=related]YouTube - Willow 2009 Wetherby 0001700709[/ame]

the foragers on willow are in small and descrete ways modified, i have a mate who is aftersales for New holland, previously being a field technical specialist, and had quite a bit to do with the biomass foragers, i think in many cases the hydrulic pumps are upgraded to heavier duty units than fitted to the standard machine

I think the best one i have seen is Copppice resource limiteds forager with the huge two circular saws on big hydro motors out front, that was a scarey bit of kit
