Alright guys.

Im from 28 and from Maidstone kent.

I am going to take a 4 week course at kingswood at the beginning of next year to gain some tickets. 30/31 38/39 wood chipper and stump grinder.

My question is im completley new to this industry do you think this is the right course for me?

And if i do pass it, how hard would it be to gain permanent employment as i will lack experience.( I know i wont be a climber stright away and will have to start at the bottom).

Thanks

Kingswood courses are good. There are other providers available locally too (chippings tree surgery/ east malling research centre/ hadlow etc... Work experience easy ... put your details on here or email local companies. Its busy time at the moment ... but it will quiet down in the new year (well it does for me). Depends how far you want to travel for the work. Im local to you and work for people in sevenoaks....

You might have to do some cheap graft or do a week on trail etc but if you ha e your head screwed on, your keen and work hard any decent employer will see that in you
