This one is used in land-clearance here in Bergen

 

Have worked for one of these machines on the railways, came from practicality browns if i remember right, there was two of us felling all night and could never keep enough timber infront of it but certainly cuts out the dragging of brash to the chipper.:rauch06:

I have felled on front of PB's big chipper you forgot to say that when you are 20metres away you cant hear your own saw running at full revs because its so loud.
