Hi, my 07 transit has its door ajar light on all the time. When I lock it the horn sounds but all the doors are locked?! I know which door it is as it's slowly been playing up and now nothing. My question is, does anyone know where the sensors are?? I've had the door apart not really knowing what I'm looking for to be fair so need to ask the hive mind. Cheers

Interior light stayed on probably because the door switch is u/s and shorted to earth or the wire is earthing out due to rubbing through insulation somewhere

Quite often the alarm utilises the interior light door switch as a sensor, see if you can pick up a replacement from a scrappy?  Its a cheap try that might fix the problem?

My 62 plate transit is doing the same thing, we know which door it is the one which doesn't lock on central locking. My mechanic mate reckons the wires have worn in the and broken in the hinge area.
