Cracked cylinder finns

What's folks views on cracked cylinder head finns, stripping down a 540 yesterday and noticed 3 have cracked is it a good idea to replace the head or should it be ok?

As long as they stop before they breach the cylinder wall they should be fine. You were lucky to spot the crack through all that gunge

Difficult to do , but ideally you need to drill a small hole at the end of the crack to stop it going any further .

Only noticed when I started cleaning ! 

That could be hard stubby especially on the next 3 up?

I've used a ball cutter on a dremel to reach in tight areas to stop cracks in fins,

You just have to work on both sides
