still looking for some nice sycamore guys.

 

the need to be decent sized trees and preferably taller or forest grown ones that will season better.

 

i need a few cubic meters of freshly felled sycamore as i need the drying process to start asap.

I probably have some big ones standing in forest. Marked to come down. Thinning 30% to get some light on the deck.
Where are you? Should i take some pics? Difficultish site but I got saws, tractor, winch and grab. Just short of time to start felling. 50 oversized trees to come out. Mainly larch but also syc. I am in south west Shropshire

putting it in the kiln breaks down too much of the lignin in the wood so i air dry all the timber myself.

 

i don't think you can successfully KD 5-6 1/2" stock anyway as it will split quite a bit.

i still need some sycamore cut this year guys as none of the leads have been what i need as yet.

 

if anyone can fulfill my requests as in the first post on this thread then please get in touch ASAP.
