Cutting high sides of hedges (over 4m)

You can definitely get a mewp to fit thru a standard gate.
I'm not sure what they're called but a guy local to me has them. The tracks extend back out once thru & it's a 10m or 15m reach from memory.

This hedge is 9m high and 6m wide only way is cherry picker. but if you land up using one go bigger then what you think you need.

that looks pretty similar to the beast in question....was it possible todo top with mewp? how long did that job take in mandays?

It took me 2 days as it was a big tidy up as it was over grown a bit;

To cut the top you need a cherry picker with boom mounted on back of basket not underneath so you can sit it low down.
