I'm after a new or used tracked chipper that will fit in a 8ft x 5ft x 5ft box trailer as shown below, obviously I'll have to take the shoot off. Any advice or info would be appreciated

I used to fit a jensen 530 into an for 8x5 cage side plant trailer, it was a tight fit, you'd need to measure carefully before purchasing.

But did the hopper hang over the front?

I think the forst is slightly shorter than the jensen at about 2700mm but that hangs over the front of an 8x4 trailer. Incidently a gm safetrak 1920 fits in an 8x4 trailer with the hopper over the front but as the tracks stretch you can't quite shut the back, similarly as the leg slides wear the track scuffs the sides.

No that was fitted in. It was touching the back ramp though.

I would of thought any chipper that goes on an 8x4 plant trailer will go in your box trailer with the spout off

There only about 4&half foot tall
