Macduff holding Macbeth's Severed Head

Long time no post!

 

We've been carving a Macbeth sculpture trail for Glamis Castle in Scotland. This is the final piece. Macduff unleashing his victory roar with Macbeth's severed head.

 

We'll be relocating to Cornwall later this month, if any of you are Cornwall based then we could use a place to carve a few bits as we get everything sorted.

Probably be better if he was holding it by the hair (although obviously more difficult)

 

He does look a bit like he's shot putting it.

Thanks everybody :-). I'm glad he looks like he's shot putting it Mick because he is. If you look at his body and the angles of everything, it's been carved to give that impression :-)

This one is Noble Fir, the trail is a mixture of that ,Oak and Douglas Fir.
