3120 hot start issue

Sounds like it is possible that the saw is lacking compression but is difficult to measure on these big saws. I still wonder if the top ring has stuck in the groove after the piston stop episode!

Top ring is free spud. Had the pot off after the stop incident and all was fine. Put together and seems to have bags of compression.

Next time it happens, undo the fuel cap, replace it and try starting it with choke no more then 3-4 pulls and then fast idle only. If it still won't go, check the spark!
