Is it worth it?

If you read all the crap on the internet then all logs must be hardwood and only ash and only x% moisture etc - a lot of customers then think they no everything about burning wood - we need to be educating the other way - as someone else put up today somewhere- there's no such things as bad wood, just poorley seaseoned.

We often find customers do get quite picky about softwoods but its all seasoned and burns well so i dont see the problem. But in most cases we have to mix the timber as a load of just softwood would be refused by the customer the odd log thouugh and they dont seem to mind:confused1:

I think you need to do a little research, so seem to no nothing about fuel wood, but are calling your customers "ignorant":thumbdown:

 

Im not calling anyone ignorant

What im saying is if we stop learning and coming up with better or alternative ideas we become ignorant (we all know someone who thinks there way is best and will never listen to other peoples ideas)

Thats because people KEEP saying soft wood is crap and often its sold wet.
