Logosol m8 and husky saws?

So I got a great deal on an m8 a while back and used my 372 a few times but now want to get some larger stuff on it.

 

My 3120 break handle fouls the uprights so considering a 395 to run exclusively on the m8.

 

I know the stihls are recommended for it but I have bars and chains for the husky setup

should work fine, dont know how the measurement graduations would line up though as there spaced for a stihl, you might have to make a few adustments

Need to find someone local with a 395 to bolt to the mill I guess and check clearance.

I wad thinking the same.

 

120cc is a lot lot lot better for milling than 95. I would also consider modding the mill to fit 3120

The guy at Logosol UK is really good and they have a mill there. Might be worth a call and maybe they would be interested in helping you mod?

I had that idea but use it for stumping with so it maybe sees 50/50 use milling and crosscutting.

yes, the bar hieght above the lifting bars, and the scale on the same, a quick check is get a bit of 2" material, and wind up the lifting bar till its just touching on the chain, with a still and lo-pro pmx chain, the indicator is dead on 2" .......you might need to tweek any husky set up( havent ever used a husky on my m7)
