Drying kindiling in loft, will it work?

I was boarding my loft today, and I though since it is really really warm up there, why not dry my kindling up there? Has anyone else tried this? or even though of it?

Not a great idea to intriduce loads of moisture into your loft without decent ventilation.

And you need airflow to dry stuff anyway.

Not sure It would be to bad as I generally only use my stove over winter, so I don't really go through much wood

I don't think moisture would be an issue as I a rather large loft and will be (hopefully) needing little kindling, as I only run my fire over winter.

Is loft not ventilated by soffit or ridge vents? Or are you boarding it to stop the airflow?

No I am not boarding over the vents, in fact I completely forgot they where there.

Do you think they would provide decent airflow?

Loft should have decent airflow

As far as drying kindling up there is concerned I'd forget about cutting and drying kindlers and buy a pack of firefighters.
