Just back to main thread - pretty unreal.... I suppose insurance companies are looking to cut back as well.....

homeowner Insurance is a con,over here and i imagine the same over in the uk if your tree falls and squashes the fence and your nieghbours car,your insurance company pays to the fence only. anything on the other side is your nieghbours problem.

Also had that one before.

 

Insurance company would only pay out for the bit of root plate (so they could put a fence panel in)left in the owners garden but not for the sheds,fences and other damage in the other 4 gardens!

ANd if the tree falls on your car then that's car insurance not home insurance, or at least thats what one will say and vice versa.
