Clean up the wide end and weld a bolt to it at right angles.

Then slip a pipe over the bolt and work the pin out.Once you get the pin rotating in the holes it should come out,or tap the pipe with a hammer.

I guess you have tried punching it out with a punch or similar after warming it up?

I've got a spare pin if you need one. I've done my U bolts and yes they are v expensive. Apparently you can buy new rams (non merc) cheaper than the seals.

Cheers Duncan but already ordered one today fro A C price. Also ordered 2 new u bolts. £30 for the pin and £115(!!!) per u bolt. Got two new rams for £750

And went to move the mog today and for whatever reason the air handbrake wouldn't release!!

Builds air to 6 on the gauge and that's it.

Mog is being a bit of a pickle at the minute!!

Typically it was blocking the tractor in that had to get out and work today!

Charge your tanks from a workshop compressor, there is a fitting on the side of the drivers side tank that will take a quick coupling in conjunction with an adapter.Take the fitting in to the shop with you.

If it still wont take the brakes off and you can't hear air escaping from the brake handle then its probably the valve that feeds the handle.(HGV supplier will have that valve) if you can't unstick it (it will come apart)

Check your Air dryer on the side of the mog.Undo the reservior and get any water out of it.Put it back on and refill it with spirit (HGV shops sell this stuff for cheap). If its dry or there is water in there, any moisture plus corrosion from the tanks might have stuck the valve. There are two settings on the dryer summer and winter.Choose the one that suits you best.
