Yeah i got that one Ally find it very good but as you say can feel a bit top heavy

What do you think of it? I like it. Nothing wrong with mine. I just kind of fancy an upgrade . . . Because I can really. Including a pair of Pfanner trousers. Much to the wife's disgust. When she realizes lol

Ive just started using the technical for a while now after getting a load on special offer ,only when I'm in the woods and doing ground work but it's a lot more robust than the pfanner the visor needs re clipping very occasionally but bits don't fall off and get lost.

The rain guard works well and from wearing arb lids is a novelty I don't mind being soaked and as long as the back of your necks dry I've discovered over the last few weeks.

Get the pfanner trousers though can't rate them highly enough.

Is the protos a lot lighter compared to the technical helmet?

Must weight them. Or may be you can find the weights on internet. But when there is no media around me i prefer the protos. Can work all day with the helmet and still feels ok , and there are a pair of classes in it . So you dont have too use the raster all the time.

I really like the look of em just look like they might be a bit warm

Actually the ventilation design is better than any other helmet on the market. Your warm head causes an air pressure differential which draws air up from below the rim and forces it out through the vents on top, continually.

On the other available helmets air is trying to get in and out of the vents at the same time.
