Re: Moving bags of logs during log delivery

I am about to start selling the logs I have been processing and drying over the last couple of years, which is a new venture for me.

The question I have is whats available on the market in terms of lifting the loaded bags in and out of my IFOR Williams trailer, as I do not want to have to unload the logs on each delivery?

Thanks

I load mine on the truck with the bobcat, then tip the body up a bit so they slide on to the tail lift, lower them down then pull em off,

Easer option is hiab

Trailer will be mega agg trying to reverse it on drive ways etc

You could fit a hiab on the trailer, this has been done and is a good option

As Joel says, a small hiab on a trailer. A mate of mine had this one below made up, he wonders how he ever managed without it. You cant beat a bit of mechanical assistance :)

Bob

He gets eight bags of logs on this

Is there not issues with too much hitch weight with a big hefty hiab mounted up front?

Its all been carefully calculated Mr Works , with the skids in and an empty trailer there is virtually no nose weight. I have borrowed this and it tows really nicely, saying that I think all the triaxle trailers tow nicely.
