Do you know the empty weight of that set up?

I've been trying to decide what to get for a new truck for months now.

The Mk8 Transit chassis weight is around 2T, so adding that body (even being mostly ali) must put your legal carrying weight to well under a ton.

It's this and the poor Ford security that is swaying me away from a new Transit.

I've got the empty weight on paper at the yard. But like all 3.5t they don't hold enough. Ford have sorted the key and lock issues out on this model.
