Re the climbing thats how I learned to do it mate when all we had was 3 core rope and one carabiner.

Is it worth it ? the cost of the transport and the time and effort milling, even if the log was free must come to a fair bit .... does Sycamore have sufficient value to justify it , or is it rippled ? just politely curious and hope it is, as it often seems a shame to just log it up for firewood or leave it to rot !

Just been watching a few of yur videos, you do some great milling work, some really nice timber you seem to get hold of as well. What do you do with the stuff you mill? Sell it or make something out of it yourself?
