The guy is a knob jockey . It should have a fuel filter . On the end of the fuel pickup line that drops into the tank .

If it runs until it gets warm it could be low compression . Classic symptom .

Can someone clarify this for me?

 

The guy in the shop I use to maintain my saws thinks that the Husqvarna 135 doesn't have a fuel filter ??

 

Mine is missing one and asked him to stick one on he said they don't have one. Seems a little odd to me ??

 

On top of what Stubby said (nail on head) ..the filter is supposed to keep the fuel line under the fuel ...regardless of the position of the saw.
