Seems theft is shed break-ins, robbing the elderly or targeted theft of people with high value jewellery around here but theft of farm/arb kit is always with us......as long as no one gets hurt, the police will just downgrade it.

Think we better start leaving our really dangerous kit out to be thieved, trouble is the hospitals would then fill up with the low life feckers!!!!

Crap hole country IMO.

A total lack of respect. No respect for their neighbours, locality, the environment or indeed anything else. There are several roads not far from here where littering is so severe that they've had to erect cameras to catch the perpetrators. If you think so little of your home and fellow man that you'll happily destroy the environment, I don't have a great deal of hope for anything else.

Crime is on the up imo from opportunists to following company vans and robbing them. The company I work for has probably had more equipment stolen from vans than ever before. Half the issue is not knowing all the staff properly. On the positive note crime of theft from the yard now its very secure is non existent

unfortunatly unless the old bill can turn a quick profit from any crimes these days, there not interested, break in at your workplace sir, are there any vehicles there that we can check and issue with tickets for sir,no, sorry we'll give you a crime no then, we arent interested, the modern police force is more interested in protecting there elite overlords and making money off easy touch traffic stops than actually doing anything, the slow run up to privatisation and what that brings

I think a lot of the crime reduction figures with regards to break-ins, theft etc is due to lack of victims reporting it. A lot of people on low wages don't have contents insurance as they cant afford it or see the point of it. If you aren't insured, then why report it as the police don't give a feck and wont investigate it anyway!
