Hi All

I currently have a 18" bar & 3/8 chain on my 560xp saw, but finding it a bit clumbersome when just cutting fire wood, i am looking for a 15" bar & chain, can anyone recommend a good set up and a good supplier?

Just bought a 15" husky bar and chain from afar Jones, the 15" seem to be on offer at just over £19 Oregon chain about £10 thought it seemed a cheap setup tbh.

The 18" oregeon bar on sawi find is just a bit tip heavy, would a 16" sugi light bar make a difference? and which chain would i need? just a 3/8 chain to suit bar?

cheers for advice

I run an 18 inch sugi light on my 560 and it's well balanced. The only time I run anything smaller on the 560 is when I've hit something and wazzed the chain. Then I'll pop on the 15 inch Husky bar and chain that came with the saw. In my opinion there is difference in balance between a sugi light 18 inch and a husky 15 inch on the 560

the sugi light is a lighter bar, better balance?

I run an 18 Sugi pro light on my 560 . ( .325 driven by an 8 pin ) and I find it balances pretty much neutral .

Is the sugi pro light bars the lighest on the market? or is it just a preference

Not the lightest bar on the market but one of the best quality bars you can buy
