Mature Magnolia Tree For Sale!!

Hi all,

 

I have had an email today from a demo firm offering a mature magnolia tree for sale on an old school site.

 

I dont know anything about transplanting so I thought I would pass it onto you guys.

 

I would like to learn a bit about this as I have never looked into transplanting large trees. I am currently a student and any bits of info about anything is always great to hear.

 

 

There are 2 more pics but I cannot add them as it will only allow me to add 4 at a time.

 

Is transplanting a good thing to do? but I suppose it will be felled if no buyers come forward. We all love trees!!!!

 

Like I said, I know nothing about this and any info would be great.

one of the guys will of been to the garden centre and seen the price of trees and thought, wow i will get a fortune for that lol

Don't mean to be picky, but from the pics it looks suspiciously more like a 'frisia' False Acacia? could be wrong!

I was thinking the same, done a few Magnolias in my time and none looked like that!
