i have one sometimes it may get stuck, so i give it a light smack, plugout and plug back in maachine and it works

 

 

Sometimes motor would stick sometimes it would spin every time but as often as not it would spin in reverse and therefore the ram wouldn't move, I guess oil pump doesn't work in reverse. No idea why it spins wrong way!

Maybe the mouse that spins the motor to give it its direction has gone on strike because it's too wet and cold. Keep it dry and warm next time and it should be more cooperative.
