Protos helmet

Put off looking at these helmets as expensive and thought a gimmick but one of the lads I work with has one and mine got put on wrong truck so I borrowed his and was very impressed would like some other reviews and people's opion I have a long at present and the ear defenders do catch on stuff when I climb! Like opinions on colour combos etc and wether need reflective or not worth it? Most work is domestic.

Probably a bit like the tree motion harness , every second climber has one.

I have a protos great helmet the ear defenders aren't the best but I am happy to put up with it i have two other helmets in my truck and always go for the protos it can get a bit sweaty but not sure if any more than my others get one I put it off for ages am happy I finally spent the money

Defenders are getting better now on the protos changed mine defenders for the new one and a lot of difference.

I have a sponsorship from husqvarna but when a working without publicity than use my protos and not the husky helmet.)

Going too buy the bluetooth defenders thiss year .

Do the new helmets come with updated ear defenders? Looking at f r jones as they have full range also what about the guard as on protos website there are two different ones i.e. One with lots of holes per cm and one with fewer holes per cm

The muffs are rated at 26snr, my saws are all a tad louder than standard (coz more noise= more earning power...!) so it's not good enough really.

Is there any way to get 32snr on there?

Yes if you change the muffs for good ear plugs. Apparently you must not use plugs with the muffs.
