Is it not insured under your home insurance? My son lost his iPhone on a school trip recently  and the house insurance will cover it (there is an excess to pay of course!).

its still cheaper than a new one!

If you smash the screen on your iphone you can book an appointment at the genius bar in the apple store and you pay £139 and they give you a replacement, you give them your smashed one and they swap it for a new one out of a brown box, my dad has had 2 new ones this way., he stood on one, then ran over the next! Both within a month!

I find the iphone to be the easiest to use, it has so many capabilities especially with all the apps available. Im looking to upgrade to the iphone 4 in the next month or so!

Ive been brave enough to take my phone up the tree a few times, i have a camera lens case with a very secure velcro strap that fits snugly on my sequoia and i can fit two phones in there and t zips up, plus it is padded so its great.

Ive had every model so far bar the newest, ive had a few warranty replacements (dust under the glass) but ive always been careful and when ive upgraded ive given the preivous to my girlfriend so we both have one. WE must look sad in public places!

I agree there, Ive just got the silicone case and its great :thumbup1:, A mate of mine has the full defender case and it looks bomb proof, A little too bulky for my liking tho

The thing i like about my blackberry on orange is the UMA . whenever im in a wifi zone that is open or i have the key for it uses that for signal so at home im guarantee a good signal because of my broadband. Have had nokia's for years and was reluctant to move away from them but they've had alot of issues with the Nseries so swapped to blackberry and haven't regretted it one bit.

I have used ZAGG invisibleshield for 3 years nearly now. First on my iPod and then on all my iPhones. £15 for a full body cover that you really can't scratch and it comes with a lifetime warranty. I had an issue an went through 7 on the front of my phone. It was a dodgy screen I think as I had that replaced and I put one on after and it was fine.

They make them for all sorts of devices. Pricey but worth it I think.
