I'd have put money on a stupid response like that. Have you ever milled lawsons? This would make some stunning planks so please go troll another thread

Excuse my ignorance. Sorry if I hit a nerve. I didn't realise there was so much money to be made out of Lawson cypress. How much are milled boards likely to fetch. Will it likely cover the cost associated with transport and milling with a nice tidy profit into the bargain?

being in the cypress family it's great for outdoor usage either as garden furniture or cladding and should do quite well as fence posts.

 

if it were this side of london i'd be very interested.

 

should make a nice couple of table tops from the middle boards...

As nice as lawsons cypress is, the market for it in the UK is quite limited and I would surprised if you got much more than £50 for it.

Apology accepted. I'm not looking to make a load of money from it, just want to see it used. And if that means not having to shift it back to my yard then all the better
