Is it an easy task removing the bottom roller ? Looking at if the hopper is removed it would it be easier task at the moment I've taken the moter off and the spline on that side I'm kind of stuck now ! Looks like the three bolts that sit in the spline and join the roller have snapped so either way it has to come out so any tips would be great , cheers mat

Its quicker and easier to pull both the rollers out of the top Matty, no need to remove the hopper. You will probably need to weld a big nut to the spline drive in the roller and slide hammer it out.

I have never needed to weld any thing on!

Remove the hydraulic motor, undo bearing carrier, get a bar approx tight fit into splines and give it a good stir!!! Usually this will do the job. It does depend on what type of bearing (s) you have on your bottom roller!

No bearings on the TW as such, plastic bush in the roller one side and uses the stator motor the other, its the splined hub thats bolted into the roller with three allen bolts that needs slide hammering out. I have never done one yet thats not needed that, they are normally goosed anyway. I just pass a bit of old ratchet strap under the roller and lift them out, I dont find that a struggle.
