chipper safety bar

my old chipper has the safety/control bar (forward/neutral/reverse) fitted on top of the infeed hopper. Is there anyone who can advise on a company that cud retrofit or fabricate a lower bar (knee bar) to bring my machine up to date in safety terms please?

Do they need one? My chipper is the same setup and the greenmech chippers were/are built with a control bar no bottom stop bar. Think it's down to the length of the hopper?

thanks everyone. The chipper is a Crary Bearcat 72825 and has a long infeed hopper aswell as a fold down 'infeed table'. I'll take some measurements and cross reference them with Paul's attachment.

Paul that's a interesting read got told by overland my old premier chipper would need mass conversion to bring it up to reg's but looking no it has not.
