New HAAS Velox Foot Ascender Gain 18 inches

Hi all,

 

I was wondering if anyone has tried the new HAAS Velox Foot Ascender?

 

It sounds amazing. We only started selling it Friday, so we would love to hear how people have found it.

 

It gives users of the HAAS system an extra 18 inches. It is easy to use and set up. One size fits all and is very smooth.

yeah - ive been using one for a while - I have big feet (12uk) and wear protector pro's which are a big boot - so i find the foot loop a bit too small and can be a bit awkward getting it on and off - however the device works well - its quite expensive and you can build a fairly effective version rather cheap, but for straight out of the box ease of use its perfect.

Better than the mk1 haas, the extra 18" gives it no flat spots like other knee ascenders which feels weird at first but it's definitely the most efficient out there , mine did fall apart the other day though went back together no bother though.

All good apart from the stupid clip they use on the bungee end, doesn't fit on any loop on the treemotion

You can't swap it out for an xsre?

 

Gotta get one for myself.

I need to do that as well after breaking the clip, cut off the crappy foot loop and put an xrse on that end to clip on a 4 SRT foot loop , was a pita and should of got the none built in foot loop version from the Start.

I have an xsre on the top of mine. And like you bought the wrong one without the clip 😒 guessing an xsre in the rings should be fine as you say.

Used mine for the first time the other day, was great apart from the footloop being bit small, size 12 airstreams, bit of a struggle to get on and off the boot which was annoying, found the clip on the bungee really good.

Cut it off below the metal rings and use an xrse on the ring to a 4srt chainsaw boot footloop and it's a much easier to clip on and go.
