While refitting the bonnet to my hedgerow condition 574 I managed to touch it against the positive terminal on the battery. Now the ignition system is dead. The only fuses I can find are these:

They appear OK. Are there other fuses that might have blown?

Thanks

John

Shorting the battery to earth shouldn't affect any fuses unless the other end of the bonnet was touching something it shouldn't.

I would check the battery condition and make sure the terminals are clean as well as the other end of the earth strap.

You need a live and an earth at the ignition, you also need the wire that goes to the solenoid, maybe even an aux live once running etc.

Maybe ignition switch gone?

Put it all back together and try bypass ignition switch. If it is ot will be peanuts esp if on a lucas key
