Quoting a wind snapped sycamore over a shed, fences, a caravan and telephone wires tonight. Hope it’s still windy when I look at it. I’m winning that either way. Very much my wheelhouse. Ideal job for the Pinkwinch too. He’s a mechanic or machinist so that’s some common ground straight away.

Did a couple of quotes last night with two pieces of Dempsey derived wisdom in mind. That you need to actually be the expert and that giving a price then and there hammers home your confidence. Big cherry to prune. Shape and getting towards the house. Amenity. “Just before we go any further, how sure are you it’s a cherry?” “Well it drops cherries.” Excellent. Look like a moron early doors. Tick. Pulled it back by pointing out I was going to check whether it fruits and whether that’s desirable. Didn’t give a price because I said I was going to go and double check the pruning season for silver leaf etc. That impressed him I think because when I asked him whether he had any opinions on finished size, he said whatever I think. He’d already been critical of next door butchering their cherry to stubs so a moderately tasteful/informed client I think. Anyway. Didn’t look like a total chump but not for want of trying.

I did understand it very well !

No I didn't, you just didn't understand it correctly

Yes I do my cousin married one, he's a retired university chancellor, a Muslim (but does have an occasional drink). You seem think everyone is a stereotype, so what are you? A potato eating drunk or a cossack of the plains or one of Putin's sleepers?

Do you think chickens get stung by nettles? Or just don't like them for some other reason?

The teenagers doing well. Fast! My mate was trying to catch the white one to clip its wings so it wouldn’t keep flying into his side. He gave up after a fortnight.

This is an allotment site with parking available. My plot is next to the parking area, making it very easy to access for delivery. I don’t have any special requirements; I need woodchips for my allotment pathways. Thanks

You're showing how stupid you really are now, I'm retired and they are on holiday, it's a fairly big holiday destination with several caravan parks, the Muslim families were on a day trip.

Only recently, go check out population increase since @ 1800 from 10M to 50M in 1950, that was us getting on with it plus some migrants necessary for the industrial revolution to increase our coffers. We filled this land. How can you possibly know that for every single migrant? Let's take Syria for example. Over 200 000 extrajudicial killings (23 000+ kids and 12 000 + women just let that sink in a bit) major benefits for Syrian refugees is staying above ground. 96K enforced disappearances 15k+ deaths under torture! Barrel bombs, cluster bombs, chemical weapons... Its repeated the world round in various ways, if you are gay/lesbian, Christian/Hindu/Muslim...etc etc

Oh dear you'll 😃, if it really have to ...for me id rather have a quick cutter over grunt , also depends if u want a forestry saw or more geared for tree work and dismantling. One size doesn't fit all, also recently tried other saws including an echo 4310 (i think) wasn't impressed with that . I feel husqvarna have lost their way now were on the 5 series and seems to be teething faults with certain models. I'm not tied to any one brand with saws and one might be good another might be crap . But the saws I'm currently running arent available anymore , All my stihl are gone ,all of the husqvarna are gone . I'm now running older none electrics echo , but compared to today's saws there ok. And efco /oleo mac ...old school series before everything got farmed out. Efco 156 is my equivilent to the 261, and efco 4100sp /4400 for the 241 ...gave fecking horrid back ache from that . But the efco and oleo mac last series were like the husqi 2/3 series ...I'm hoping ive enough till i retire

Nah, not having that either, ALL, my puckered wrinkly sphincter. I was fishing from my local pier yesterday afternoon and perhaps 8-10 Muslim women (modestly dressed, head to foot but open faces, no niqab/burka just a headscarf) came past and were asking, in pretty good English, if we had caught anything and as I had they asked what kind, what size, did I keep it, are they good to eat etc. Later as I was packing up they were coming back down the pier and we continued chatting, they were from Bradford, with their husbands who were just walking along a few metres ahead and unconcerned that their wives were talking to little old white me! Did any British ask me about the fishing, or about life in general? Apart from little kids or other anglers asking if we had caught, not one and that's the norm. Another norm is Muslim men who fish the pier, the majority are respectful and engaging and seem to know a lot of the local anglers. Now this doesn't mean that every Muslim person will be like that, same as not every white british person will be aloof and not engaging with people who they pass, just the same as not all those newcomers wanted there little Pakistan or Honduras or India……

or a hedge cutter and polesaw chainsaw with the same batteries? You can swipe polesaws around in the same way as a hedge cutter and they will tackle the larger branches with less stress. Its great for cutting off lower growth off lime trees for example.

Its interesting how people's opinions vary. What's your 'go to' saw now and why?

East Europeans are not emigrants, it is best what happen to GB , you will remember that in 50 years while your daughter will wear a full face cover and your son praying Allah🫣And every second call will be Indian scammers🤣, also your hospitals will become a tip site with homeless Indian and useless Pakistani and Nigerian doctors it’s happening right now and I’m afraid you can’t do anything about this!! Ya I forgot that your granddaughter will not be capable of to left a house without bunch of Ukrainian veteran bodyguards ! Yes I can say all this as I’m immigrant myself, the problem with immigration is simple it is MENTALITY….. you move to GB you must become an English , but all those newcomers wanted there little Pakistan or Honduras or India…… Trust me every Polish who come in England wanted to become Englishman, plus 1 Lithuanian worker equivalent of 10 Pakistani plus 5 Nigerians, and one kristian Philippine nurse worth 10 untidy Indians . I think I have 10 years jail now from GB HALF INDIAN government isn’t????

Never been keen fan of them, I'm greatful my 241cm got stolen..although a pro saw was very heavy for a 40cc saw and the 260/261cm wasn't much better

Now we're getting to the crux of the matter. "So if we have 50000 small boats migrants a year and say 30000 of those remain, we now need extra housing for 30000 more people than the year before - plus extra housing for net increase due to legal migrants granted work and study visas." 30000 << legal migrants granted work and study visas. But still, immigration has very little to do with the overinflated housing market in the UK.
