The chain, which operates 38 holiday parks across the country and is particularly popular with families and children, has been the focus of posts across social media in recent days claiming 'coaches of men had been moving in'. The holiday company has since categorically denied the claims on social media and said there is 'no truth' to the posts. One post, seen by the Manchester Evening News, was shared on Facebook, which read: "Think that everyone should be made aware that Haven are now accommodating illegal immigrants all over the country," followed by angry face emojis. Another clip, posted to TikTok titled 'Even Haven holiday park not safe now', claimed that 'two coach loads of men turned up' at the Cleethorpes Beach site. A post on X read: "Two coach loads of immigrants recently arrived at Haven Cleethorpes. That's thousands of holidays ruined. Boycott Haven" as another read: "Just seen on FB that two busloads of young men have arrived at Haven Holiday Park in Cleethorpes. Is that ok?" In a statement, Haven Holidays said holidaymakers had been in contact regarding a series of false social media posts, as they categorically denied the claims and said there is 'no truth' to the various posts.

Hi all, Me, the Mrs and our two kids are moving to Australia on 7th November. We are heading back down to my old stomping ground of Thanet, East Kent for a while to spend time with family before we go. I'm hoping to find work while we are down there to help fund the move. I'm looking to fill from the 6th October - 31st October (4 weeks). I'm happy to travel a little way from Thanet but not too far as it defeats the object of getting as much money behind us as we can to then spend it on fuel. Distance is negotiable if the right opportunity presents itself. I'm pretty experienced, switched on, motivated etc. I've been doing tree work for 13 years, climbing for 11 of those and Team Leader / Lead Climber for most of the firms I've worked with in the last 8 years. Plenty of shining references if required. By then I would have probably sold all my climbing gear and will be down to a saw, boots, helmet and trousers so I'm looking for groundie work to see me through. As for daily rate, I don't know what experienced groundies are getting in that region as I've been in the South West for a while now. Again, negotiable but must reflect my level. Alternatively, if agreed in advance I can put off selling my climbing gear and bring it all down with me. If I'm climbing, I'd expect £200 a day. The only reason I am aiming for ground based work in Thanet is, the sooner I put all my gear up for sale, the better the chance I have of selling it all in time. All the correct tickets, EFAaW+F, MEWP, own saw and PPE, own transport, robust attitude, thick skinned, reliable and happy to crack on with whatever I'm thrown at. Some of todays pick, peaches, tomatoes, red and white grapes and Padrons. The Padron peppers are my particular favourite, splashed with a little oil then blistered directly on the BBQ grill, a little sprinkle of course sea salt and viola. Enough is enough now, this coming from what some would call a lefty. A couple I know are wardens on a Haven Holiday Park in Cleethorpes, last night two coaches turned up with a hundred of these immigrants, this site costs £1200/week at this time of year, you know, the sort of place hard working folk take their children on holiday. Someone tell me wtf is going on.
