  1. Past hour
  2. Stent in through his arm and back in the workshop by Tuesday. Modern medicinal miracles. I was driven round the road system by car in the middle of the day. Felt like Idi Amin.
  3. where abouts in the world is love island i have never heard of that island
  4. Today
  5. I thought you knew better dear boy, but here we are.
  6. Nobody cares. The world's going down its own tube. We're not even noticing. Love Island is on.
  7. Simon you aggravatable argument magnate. It's a nice story, an offshoot from the main topic and in no way demeans your efforts to tell us something about a different chain of holiday camps.
  8. Im glad youre mate is OK, tbh I guess it was probably the price of an ice cream or the cost of a throw away BBQ that probably triggered the heart attack. They do run their operation very efficiently to say the least. Although if you get a bit lost trying to find your lodge on the first day you can burn through around 10 China days worth of emissions on the one way system.
  9. Are you sure about what you are posting?
  10. haven is owned by the borne leisure holdings ltd and sold to Blackstone Group in 2021 for£3 billion. it makes about £150m profit a year
  11. No, and I couldn’t give a feck about Center Parcs, we are talking about Haven.
  12. I saw Liam Gallagher at Centre Parks, with his wife and kids, the bird from All Saints, he looked quite happy, should do I suppose as he is a millionaire rockstar.
  13. M.P. Melanie Onn calls this ”fake news”. She says “I have spoken directly to the Home Office and to NELC to get to the bottom of this. The truth is that no migrants are being accommodated at any of these sites. Migrants are not being housed in these establishments, nor are there any upcoming plans to house migrants in them”. Eggsarascal’s posts suggest that a number of people are being untruthful. The Home Office. North East Lincolnshire Council. Haven Holiday Park management. Member of Parliament Melanie Onn. I, for one, look forward to the evidence (or, lack of) “in the next couple of days” that Eggsarascal’s informants will make those listed above look like untruthful plonkers.
  14. Have I told the story of my Center Parcs holiday on here before? My mate took his wife and kids there. He keeled over in the villa with a heart attack. His wife called on the way to hospital asking if I could look after the kids while they were indisposed. Flew up there. Gate staff knew who I was before I opened my mouth. Map, keys, note granting me and the kids free dining etc, bag sent to the villa, lift for me straight to where they were (another family looking after them at a restaurant). No hitches with the restaurant staff. Everyone was clued in. Super organised. Huge site with thousands of people and all sorts going on and they were bang on top of it. Anyway, spent a couple of days riding bikes and swimming until the changeover day. Observed that. Another logistical triumph getting the cleaners all through in record time for the weekend customers. Not the sort of holiday I'd plan but I'm well impressed with them as an operation. Not least because they apparently saved my mate's life. They have their own ambulance service. Went round and defibrillated him etc. So yeah, three cheers for Center Parcs. Did I fcuk pay for any activities. The cost of archery or laser tag was probably what triggered his cardiac event.
  15. Well at least this is an easy one to sort out give it a couple of days.
  16. I am saying you need to back up your claim, not just shit in my ears. The next couple of days? I thought your mates had visuals, eye witnesses, get them to send their proof off their phones, and make a few quid on the side by selling them to The Daily Mail at the same time .👍
  17. They dont want to hear the truth, over the next couple of days the truth will come out, then they will crawl back under their rocks and say, nothing to see here. They don't realise THEY are the problem.
  18. The biggest earner must be the activities, have you seen how much they cost! TBH ive never been on a haven holiday but I have been to plenty of center parks ones and I presume its run along the same lines. Ive spent plenty of dollars at these places as although I do love a bit of time abroad in the sun it is nice to holiday in old Blighty sometimes. Anyway, give it a break lads, you are ruining a good thread here.
  19. Now you see, that's useful. The 325 narrow Oregon sharpens with a 4mm file. Is it a standard 325 file holder or a different one?
  20. I'll ask you know big mouth, are you saying I'm wrong, yes or no?
  21. I didn’t start this farce with grand claims that you haven’t backed up with any credible evidence , but I will be quite happy to read it when it arrives, what you waiting for, Godot? 👍
  22. Yes , before Oregon I was using that chain it’s a bit jumpy, when new ,so I was reducing teeth size and sharpening angle on new chain that helped a lot , Oregon is better in my opinion, as it gives practically same performance and no vibration!
  23. That's totally the kind of ridiculous blag you can imagine happening.
  24. But that's the business model they have worked on for years. Flip side of that are a lot of the parks are very profitable with the van owners (chunk of the business is ground rent to van owners) - talking to a rep a few years back the holiday parks don't own most of the caravans, not all are hired out - so putting in a load of immigrants is going to hurt that business too. Other big revenue is the bar... which immigrants on pennies a week cannot afford... but the van owners will want open for their own weekend away... not all the cash is the £50 a week per person Only saying, I am sceptical that they would be housing immigrants at the same time as holiday makers and owners.
  25. Yes..
  26. Sorry sir, was that aimed at me?
  27. Cock…
