Description

Probably a bit more towards spares than repair now but would repair if you had the time and inclination.

I bought this in January last year just as the MOT ran out with all good intentions of welding it up and MOTing it to keep.  I'd known the last couple of owners so knew a bit of its history but i underestimated how much welding it would need.  Its gone in the usual D2 places (rear of chassis, innerwings, footwells, sills etc).

It was in daily use before the MOT ran out and drove well enough when i drove it before i bought it, and has been fine when ive shunted it around on the drive periodically (but does need jumping off now as the battery isnt great)

It has 147000 miles and 2 sets of keys. Is also old eough to appear to still have difflock fitted (but they were never connected - though i do have the parts required off a 300tdi available by separate negotiation) and was on coil springs on the rear from new.

The rear sunroof has developed a leak whilst it has been parked up but is taped up.

fitted with BFG all terrain tyres, a bit over half worn, with a matching spare that is unused.

It could be a good donor vehicle or a project for someone with more time than I do - I need it off the drive to get the ideas of rechassising out of my head.......
