looking for a saw to carry a 28-30" bar,,, getting to the point where i need to get one sorted,,

So,,, opinions,, lets ave em,,,

i've used a 660,, a few years old but it was a nice saw,,

have used a larger husky, but cannot remember what model (tommer may chip in as it's his)

i like the hunger of the husky,, but all my saws are stihl so am used to finding my way round em,,,

that's it,,,nothing against husky, no reason for not having one yet,,, so is this to be my first husky?

could you consider the 390xp too? I have had bad experiences with my 660, all sorted now but was a pain, and i like the 395, apart from the chainbrake only being mounted on one side (the 390xp is mounted both sides) the 395 would be fine if its only used on the ground. If i could choose again i would go for a husky.

660 for me, and yes I have used both.

Both good saws, but the 660 seems to be more reliable and capable of handling the abuse that tree surgery throws at it.

Doesnt come with locking fuel and oil caps though.

If you do get a 660, do it a favour and invest in the HD air filter. (And possibly the dual port exhaust)
