    Article: Stihl ms461 parts

I usually get bits from L&S engineers. I need to replace the screws on the carb or get a new carb but L&S have been out of stock for some time and can't get a date off them when they're likely to get new stock in. Who else do people use for the little bits and bobs.

    Thanks

Do you have the part numbers? Assuming they are  special carb screws? If they are plain metric standard ones I would go to ebay.

Any local dealer should be able to get them. For online, radmore are a good shop, try their parts page?

Have you actually spoken with them or just expecting them to have in stock a special order part ?.

As per what kram has said, any dealer including L&S should be able to order them and be shipped from Germany or wherever in a day or two.

L&S are pretty much the best for getting Stihl/Husqvarna parts, on carb bits, try Rowena Motors. They have an exhaustive knowledge of carbs and are usually, IMO, very helpful. The only difficulty will be if the carb is a Stihl specific OEM carb and not based on a generic design, you do come across this sometimes.

Is it the high/low screws? Send me a pm with the serial number and I'll see if we have them at work. If not I can check with Stihl and give you a delivery date
