Paxton or Apache trailer?

I'm looking for a 6x4 trailer with mesh sides.

*I think* I've seen some negative comments about Paxton trailers on here, but I can't remember the details.

 

Which to go for or any others to consider?

Both look a little flimsy tbh. An Ifor Williams p7e with mesh side option far more robust. It's also got a decent tailgate for wheeled implements.

The P7e looks good, but is nearer the £1k mark with mesh sides. I suppose it'll have a better resale value though.

I've got the 7x5 Paxton with cage sides, & I'm happy with it.

Looked at a paxton not long back, to be honest by the time you add all the extras up, like jack legs, spare wheel, ramps etc etc, that come as standard on an ifor, it was less than £200 off the price of an ifor. My ifor is braked and can carry twice as much, and will have a good resale value. Ifor everytime, only negative about ifors is the appeal to thieves.

Hold on, your compairing a braked trailer thats built to carry more weight to a non braked trailer!! lets be fair

 

ifors have a single bar draw bar not a proper frame.... when i priced an ifor with 13" wheels and mesh kit it was 1200 inc vat...

Im only selling as too much gear and just finishing sorting my plant trailer out, cant fault the trailers for the price really. wouldnt buy a new one but a hardly used second hand one yes!

I have a paxton trailer, purchased second hand. Been faultless, nice to tow and suits our needs.
