Re: More stolen saws
I hope they catch the bastards too, lets hope there is some old Kernow law that lets you cut off body parts. The only way to stop them.
There is no justice in the rest of the UK, there is a new building near me almost finished now and they have to leave the lights on all night....? why. So if anyone breaks in and injures themselves they cant make an insurance claim it was dark!! That is true it came straight from the horses mouth. Crazy world eh

Re: More stolen saws
Here in the states we also have many break-in's and loss of gear. Usually the perps that pull this off are in it for quick cash. Might I suggest contacting local Pawn or loan shops for items fitting the descriptions of the stolen items, along with serial numbers and any other ID marks. Usually but not always local law enforcement work with these businesses trying to recover stolen goods. Considering the UK market and number of retail locations selling equipment to the end user, I am wondering why a anti-theft devise could not be installed on saws and other such items of value for tracking purposes. A simple magnetic strip could be installed from the point of purchase and if someone was really clever they could link this information to a app. via a smart phone so as when the items leave a certain location a message would alert the owner and or Police. "Work smarter not harder".
