  3. Hi, We are looking for experienced and qualified subcontractors for either Climbing or ground working who hold certification for roles they undertake. CS30, CS31, CS38 Mainly domestic work with some commercial clearance jobs. If your not experienced but keen to learn and have a good work ethic than I’m happy to put my time into your development. Must be physically fit and hold a full driving licence. We are based near Edenbridge, Kent Call or txt 07747345815 or email [email protected] Thanks Sam
  4. Good morning, I have some bone questions to ask about sole-tradering, the HRMC website seems to just focus on building trade sole traders in the subcontracting context. - If the tree work is nothing to do with a building development etc then I do not have to be part of the CIS scheme? - As a non-VAT registered contractor I don't include VAT anywhere on my invoices? - I invoice the company I'm working for the full amount of my labour, and receive the full amount (it's up to me to sort out my tax)? - How much % of the year can I work for the same company without losing "self-employed" status (included in this is, if some of work during the year is PAYE to a seperate company is that included as "working for someone else" even though it's not a sub-contracting context? Thanks in advance.
  5. With tickets 30/31, 38 and 39 under my belt and almost 3 years experience I'm hoping to offer my skills as a subcontractor and hopefully develop new skills in the process. I have my own PPE, climbing equipment, ground and aerial saws and my own transport (albeit, not a van). Please contact me if interested, any work would be much appreciated! Darren James.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
