  1. I operate a small tree firm based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Looking for someone to ground for me on a job pollarding a large willow in Worksop. Not booked a date yet so can work around your availability. Potentially more work going forward if I’m satisfied with your competence and work ethic. Must have CS30/31, own PPE, some experience and ideally your own transport. Call me on 07814998886 if you think you might be interested. Cheers, Darren.
  2. Several years experience climbing and grounding. Basic tickets; CS30/31 CS38 CS39 Skilled worker CSCS card I have my own climbing kit, ground and climbing saw and a pickup with load handler if you need to chip into it. I graft hard and work well with others Looking for £120 a day. I live in Chesterfield, Derbyshire but willing to travel within reason. Full time employment or subbing considered. Cheers, Darren.
  3. With tickets 30/31, 38 and 39 under my belt and almost 3 years experience I'm hoping to offer my skills as a subcontractor and hopefully develop new skills in the process. I have my own PPE, climbing equipment, ground and aerial saws and my own transport (albeit, not a van). Please contact me if interested, any work would be much appreciated! Darren James.
  4. I'm self employed, cs30, 31, 38, 39, Bali card, water rescue, unsigned van, own saws, climbing kit, PPE and a fair bit of other gear too. I've only got a years experience though, so charge £80 day rate. I do graft hard, usually 6/7 days a week! Am I not charging enough? I'm in Sheffield area.. Cheers, Darren James
  5. You could try Phil, he conducting a course in Leeds recently but I think he's from down South? philipstephenson267@btinternet.com He'll probably only do it if there's 10 or so who will attend, worth an email though! Darren James
  6. Fantastic. I managed to get a cheap farmers canopy with the truck for the time being but I'll definitely check them out!
  7. Hi, I'm looking at buying an L200 4Life as a work vehicle. The one I'm considering has no canopy though. Any ideas of where I could get one custom built? I'm wanting an ally canopy with a lock box for tools and enough room to chip into when necessary. An idea of pricing would be great too! Thanks in advance
  8. I've been in the trade for just under a year now and I'm working towards building on my experience and qualifications. I have my CS30, 31, 38 and all being well, I'll have a CS39 ticket at the end of the month too. I have all necessary PPE, a ground saw and my own transport. I hope to have my own climbing equipment and top handled saw by the new year. I am looking for full time work but I am registered as a sole trader should anybody be looking to subcontract! Please contact me by Email if you can help me progress in a career in arboriculture! Many thanks, Darren. thenamesdaz@gmail.com
