  2. Silverwood School is a special needs school that takes pupil from all over wiltshire. Pupils who are able help to take care of the site by maintaining the woodland and gardens. Our pupils love wheelbarrowing woodchip to all areas of our site to help develop areas and maintain the paths and beds at the school. Please come during School opening hours Monday-Friday 7am -5:30pm (avoid 8:40am and 3pm as this is pick up and drop off.) The tip site is just on the left as you come through the white gates. Multiple loads welcome as long as its well off the school road, close to the woodland. what three words///dockers.withdrew.engaging. If you have clean woodchip your welcome without checking. DO NOT sign in, tip and go. Thanks Tim Melrose Head of outdoor learning Silverwood school
  3. We are looking for some woodchips to develop paths and wooded areas within our school grounds. We would like chips that would look quite good as ground cover and for children to run/walk over.
  4. There are flower beds very close to the entrance of the school but the entrance road is very narrow so it would be best to unload nearer to the school. Contact the Site Manager Tim for details
  5. Hi, I am currently doing a school project in which we have to choose a patch of land, and design and create a hypothetical woodland scheme. For part of this, we have to identify the trees/shrubs around the perimeter of the field. If you could help with this, it would be much appreciated. Apologies the pictures are not very clear, and I am aware there may be multiple pictures of the same species. Thank you. If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
