Our client is an established contractor based in the West Midlands. They undertake a wide range of work for local authorities (they hold several long term contracts for councils), commercial, (including some utility contracts) and domestic. They hold a large number of accreditations and have a reputation for high quality work and a professional service delivery. They are currently looking to employ a PTI qualified surveyor to assist with their contract with Birmingham City Council. The work would involve programmed VTA inspections of local authority trees. The work will be primarily within the West Midlands area and the pay will be on a per tree basis on a full or part time basis so would suit a self employed worker. It is expected to run for circa 8 months. Candidates must be qualified to level three in arboriculture and ideally have previous technical experience in surveying or similar. A LANTRA PTI qualification is essential. Times and days of work are flexible and the work is available on a part time or full time basis and will be based on number of trees surveyed at circa £1.30 per tree with the expectation of 100 trees per day to be surveyed.
