  1. They look bloody good. Ebay might be an option as collection only or delivery for a fee, or the likes of Etsy, I've sold a few turned bits on Etsy. Other than that, getting word out via friends and family/work colleagues is another option, as well as the above local stuff
  2. Anyhoo, wend down the twinpot rabbit hole last night, and ended up with the echo back pack compressor, same engine as the echo 2 cylinder I think. So found one on the flea bay, just in the USofA Echo Rec 600 Back Pack Air Compressor Engineering Sample Rare Collector’s Piece | eBay UK WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Find many great new & used options and get the best deals for Echo Rec 600 Back Pack Air Compressor Engineering Sample... Have fun, don't go crazy 🤣
  3. Powertoolworld out of stock prices are mad, I saw a 185mm circ saw for 999 the other day. Came into stock and price went down to about 200 quid.
  4. @kram Have you used yet? Been considering that XGT saw
  5. Nasty, nasty Get well soon mate Wake up call to look where your putting your krabs
  6. This ugly little fecker about 40ft up. Wondered why an adult pigeon bugged out at a million mph about a minute before.
  7. I use steel on the end of my climbline to make it easier to throw my main line, it's more like a throwball and carab all in one 🙂
  8. Sequoia, newer style. Spent a bit of time in a skyloctec, and the sequoia is by far and away better. Can't stick the webbing bridge.
  9. Old Christmas tree that went a bit mental. Drop zone was main issue on this one, but nothing broken that shouldn't be😁
  10. I use them all the time now, makes life sooo nice, didn't use them on the course had enough to worry about. Just put the rope through the right hole first🙂
  11. When I did my 38, from memory it was you could ditch your secondary climbing system when you started descending with the dummy, depending on what rescue method you choose to employ. As for cambium savers, we had the option, and probably more of a pain than they are worth, especially if you get the order of operations mixed up when installing it. At lowe maintenance (where I did my 38) no time limit on getting a line into the tree, also the assessor is a local cutter, and was very decent about the whole thing. on the rescue it was already in the tree. Dummy was probably about 10-15 ft up, so not stupid hight. Spikes are used on the pole rescue, but all the limb walking etc was just done with boots Think that's everything, lmk if not. Main thing is to remember is that on the 38, your not expected to be swinging about the tree like a monkey, and it's more about proving your safe and compitant when it comes to moving around the canopy. You will however be required to climb on 2 main systems, primary and secondary (can change over) and you can't have more than 500mm slack in any system at any time. That's HSE guidelines
  12. Some bits courtesy of skyland. Cannot fault service, ordered Wednesday night on standard shipping
  13. This⬆️ Or a Makita 40v battery saw, with 1/4. Basically most things with a 1/4" chain
  14. Yeh, will get another one, try the black one next time, see if the finish holds up. Need some gear from skyland so see if they do it
  15. Yup, it feels like on the tri act that it's binding on something inside, as it can't be pushed beyond the point on the image. I have emailed petzl so we will see how they go. Will have to go back to Ali crab on climbline, which is a bugger as I like the steels extra weight beeing easier to throw accurate
