  1. The world has become full of self entitled head bangers such a drama over nothing
  2. Also with the 462 if you turn the saw upside down and look in to where you adjust the oil flow you will see a small roll pin which you can tap through with a punch and that let's your oil adjuster turn further which will increase oil to the bar but it still looks like a lack of chain oil
  3. Have you checked that the bar is oiling properly, check the oil hole in the bar make sure its not blocked, if you run the saw close to the ground on half throttle you should see a streak of oil after 10 seconds or so, it looks like the chain is too tight or the saw is not oiling
  4. Good strong van they are more like a light truck compared to a transit or a Renault tipper, they can be quite thirsty on fuel but then most tippers are, get heavier rear springs made up
  5. The biggest problem i see with it is the general public don't really seem to know that much about it yet and by the time they do and decide to do something about it the trees will be too far gone and unsafe to climb so it's all going to be cherry picker work and that's if access allows
  6. Sounds like the problem is your zigzag, after about six months mine started slipping on petzl flo and cousin atrax which is the same rope, after a long drawn out affair with fr jones where i bought it from the new zigzag finally arrived and there's now no slippage at all, both those ropes work brilliantly with the zigzag they start to self tend almost straight away when using a pulleysaver or ropeguide, the new zigzag release-descend lever is a different colour compared to the original one it almost looks like titanium
  7. Bought the hexa kit when it was first available, 2 chains + file, wasn't that impressed with it at all, went back to rs chain every bit as good if not better
  8. Anyone else noticed the amount of ash trees in Northern Ireland with ash die back, seems to be really taking off here.
  9. Never had a problem with skylands, always prompt delivery and no messing about, just get it sent to your home address problem solved without the drama
  10. I find the stihl HS56c to be the lightest and best balanced hedge cutter of them all, you can use them all day without getting sore arms and they also leave a nice tidy finish as well, never liked those bigger stihl hedge cutters way too heavy and not a fast enough blade speed
  11. I agree, if you can go for a 462, light and powerful probably one of the best stihls made
