  1. Would i ? 😏 if someone’s trespassing or breaking in ?? . It’s a pistol grip model that I will leave in the disco mostly to check the sheep / trespassing etc
  2. I’ve got a lenser head torch and agree is decent but just need something with some extra throw! Also strangely enough I’ve got the big Larry in my tool bag again decent but not a long enough throw ? As mentioned before mag light have some good choices nowadays. I’ve gone with a clu-light clubrighter sport recommended by some of my shooting pals and will let you know of mi findings.
  3. So my old trusty truck / security torch is finally giving up the ghost and looking for a replacement. Don’t want to many functions just high beam and a low ! Will be used around the place for general use and keeping an eye on things. looking around the £80-90 max range.
  4. Exact same thing happened to my little solis 26 ! Two snapped blots holding the loader frame onto chassis! And a right pain in the gonads to get to. Managed to tap one out with a centre punch and the other one a left hand drill sorted it. Just checked them again through reading this and we’re loose again 😤 but not snapped and locked up ok. Also to note the bottom bracket had also cracked on the welds so worth checking that as well.
  5. I used a tethered mouse trap to deter 😏 a certain cat from crapping in some raised planters to the front of my house ! It worked 😁. Don’t get erm in the back garden as I’ve two patterdales
  6. Yep same nicked the old defenders off the old husky helmet. They’ve been on a year and haven’t come off.

  8. Stag charcoal in Hertfordshire get good reviews
  9. Yep use a sit on kayak and wear a thin wetsuit or just shorts and a fleece/ T shirt if hot. It’s possible on low tide to get on the end reef and spin off it for the bass. There’s also stuff on you tube about kayak fishing there. Let me know if you need anything else 👍🏼
  10. I tend to get to sea palling at first light nobody about and drive up the slip and unload on beach I have left vehicle there before but tend to park in the car park. 13” sit on kayak and Tackle wise 6” spinning rod fixed spool loaded with 40lb braid large swivel to catch the weed down the line 5 foot30lb fluorocarbon leader and a floating lure which dives to a depth of 5/6 foot as there’s lots of crab pots on other side of reef. I simply ( he says ) troll along the reefs preferably during slack water as when the tides running it whips along there big time and you have to give it the beans which is bloody hard work. Don’t use a net and it just snags on the trebles ( found out the hard way ) just a wet rag to hold and land the fish and lash everything 🙄. On average get around 9-12 takes in about an hour and a half. I’m usually back at the caravan by 7.30- 8 as you only need a couple of hrs as it’s quite tiring tbh. I’ve got a little rib and out board which I’m thinking of using or maybe hitch the out board onto the kayak 😏. It’s great fun but need to be aware and wear a life jacket 👍🏼
  11. Hi mate sorry been busy celebrating the Footie 🤕 I’ll get back to yer when I get a bit of time 👍🏼

  13. You were right ! Got descended on at first light ! Thousands of the buggers. Had to pack up and move on
