  1. Fair Fair point mate. Its just the shape it was when it came off the roll so i went with that.
  2. Well get away and tighten on mate dont let me keep you😄
  3. It came through before the garage was built. I get the impression you are spoiling for an argument if thats the case take it up with someone else. 😄
  4. Yeah no access for ibc cages but a good idea. I just dry in these stacks and store in covered ricks by the back door.
  5. Aye. But i just used what i had🙂
  6. Some old pigwire and a bit of pallet wood. Ideal if you're tight for space. Modular design add more rings for greater storage. With the addition of a little conical roof makes a prety weatherproof option
  7. Its heavy weight callico and painted with bitumous emulsion from the builders merchant.
  8. Yes this one was number 2.We made one the summer before and it was a heroic failure other than some cracking footage of me upside down in the river😄. We learned some lessons and put it into practice on this one and it was altogether better. They are a very underated craft but are really practicle ideal on quiet stretches of water for mooching about. Not sure on the exact weight but easy to carry, We made a chest strap out of a bit of seatbelt which made it far more portable

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
