  1. I know mate. YOu're always very respecful. Are you sure though that wont develop nicely. I have pruned probably 1000s of plants in my time. I know how they work, but not trees.
  2. This is what I want to do. Red are cuts. Purple is new formation
  3. I agree. I think it's beautiful. I don't tink 8 - 10ft of the left side and some re shaping would harm aeshethics. Would just reduce wind resisistene a little. As I say, customer wants it done. I have no objection to taking 10 ft off one side and removing ivy. Any more and I'll decline it.
  4. Hi Rough Hewn I work in a team They aren't taking down. They are being reduced to prior pruning points or there abouts. Neighbours have no light. Free fall for 90% some can be rigged but only light stuff to avoid fence lines Jo Beau M500 120mm - It's great Access is great - Cut out a fence panel - I'm a fencer ? Me - 3 days - I'm not organised, I'm not familiar, I'm having to re learn basic stuff I forgot, I am having to quadruple check knots Yeah I passed all but rigging and dismantling and large fell Yes I have worked with other tree surgeons before and frankly 2 of them I was better. I can climb like a monkey, just don't know ropes and pulleys and all the jargon I spent 50k on kit for my Fencing and now "Tree" business and also I wanted to treat my dad cos he is very unwell and needs his house refurbished.
  5. Cable bracing? What's the harm in taking that taller left stem off by 8 ft and ripping off ivy Surely a slightly bevelled cut on the stem would stop ponding. Sealing it perhaps even.
  6. They are adamant it's reduced in height by 1/3. phone cables every where, busy street, pedestrian and traffic management required.
  7. Grow up. It's a joke. Photos aren't coming, as I previously stated, I had to do 4 hours driving and my website and emails all went down and I had to abort the day to start fresh on Monday. I'm 99.8% certain Mick doesn't like sucking cock. And if he did, I wouldn't care a damn. Honestly.... have some fun in your life man....
  8. Photos are coming your phallus slurper
  9. Tossing pop corn into the air an catching it in your mouth and missing is nothing to be ashamed of. The low density and irregular shapes of the popcorn cause irregular trajectory and velocity through the air and into the open mouth. Don't be ashamed of failing Maria. God loves a trier!
  10. I know that you know that I know that you know that part of you knows I'm going to be fucking good at this. And you secretly hate that lol. hahaha
  11. Nope cos..... A- I had a 2 hour round trip to buy my foot ascender and zigag and then i realised I had no ropes small enough to fit the pretzl zigzag, nor withtout x 2 spliced eyes so nope cps I had another 2 hour trip to remedy the issue. Also my emails and website have gone down inexplicably so 3 hours of phone calls to still have no website or email communication in the dead of winter. But don't worry Mick on Monday you can cast your cast your eyes over my work in HD quality.
  12. Spoil sport ?
  13. Basically 40ft with no branches apart from the last 15 ft right and the top. No signs of desise on needles or fungus or any obvious signs or rot around the trunk. It's leaning heavily so needs some height taken off and this can be done leaving it looking cosmetically nice. It does however have ivy up the trunk. Of course this needs cutting, and then re cutting yearly. Question is, rip it off or leave it on. Would it do more damage to tear it away than to leave it to rot off? Ta
  14. I will be working with other climbers but this big job I was let down so I decided to walk the walk. Glad I did! I really like this I find it intuitive and am looking forward to doing more of it.
  15. That's a triple extension you cheeky sod lol
  16. Me too. I;d rather work clever and be able to smash the Mrs the moment I walk through the door.
  17. dunno what frictionless climbing is. If it's climbing a rope by hand, then yes I can do it for about 30 ft but then I need to lay back on a limb and smoke a doobie snack.
  18. I am but my shoulder is keeping me awake at night with pain. That aside....
  19. Yes yes I know, a ladder! Got it:-)
  20. God you can be a prick sometimes. I have degenerative shoulder joint, and spinal fusion and failed operation in my right hand so yeah I will be able to do it, and I would have anyway, cos there's more to me than you think Sorry for jumping the gun! Kisses
  21. Bought the foot ascender and pretzl zigzag. This also meant i had to buy 135 ft of 11.4 non spliced rope of course and a caribenar that fits the zigzag.... Question is.... zigzag on right hand I'm right handed. Foot ascender on right or left foot. I'm right footed but I feel left would be better.
  22. I'm going out now to rig them with anchor hitches and cambian savers and ab sail around like spider man. Not another word Mick, its being done! lol
