  1. I bet someone like Chris Williams "Welsh Chairmaker" could point you in the right direction: Chris Williams WWW.WELSHSTICKCHAIRS.COM
  2. Some photos of some of the things taken:
  3. Much appreciated!!
  4. Hi all, Putting this out there on the off chance anyone comes across any flint or bronze axes at some point, they don't hold any monetary value but are well loved! A mate had his Transit stolen from Wiveliscombe, Somerset and would love to recover some of the contents. There were also things like animal skins, woven baskets, and an expensive Northmen framing chisel. Cheers.
  5. It says max 250kg on the side!! Either way where can I get one?
  6. Tell us more go onnnnnnn
  7. I find it a bit silly that to do the SRT course you need to first have done CS38?? What's the difference as long as you've done one of them...?
  8. Amen
  9. Saw that recently, looks really good. Quite spenny though
  10. DMM Carabiners and cheap accessory carabiners. Can never have too many of them
  11. 😂yeah I have practiced it but that is a good reminder to have a bit of a refresher. I also appreciate the tip I got off YouTube about taking it out of the packaging when when you buy it because the bandage itself is inside yet more packaging.
  12. I just charge a day rate and give them an estimate of how long I think it'll take.
  13. Out of interest what would you be looking to pay someone who meets all your criteria? Not a trick question, just interested!
  14. Hope this is ok to post here but please remove if not, it's not exactly arb related so didn't want to put on Arbtrader. I'm having a new year's clean out of my workshop and selling my Bosch mitre saw as it just never gets used. Have used it probably 5-10 times on fairly light duty stuff, as you can see by the condition of the blade. Also comes with fairly decent stand which extends to 3m (I think). Collection preferred but could possibly deliver within 20ish miles of Andover if fuel is covered. Would take £500. Thanks.
  15. Straps for your silky and built in spikes... nice
  16. I got them off amazon in 2018(!) when I was first doing this kind of work. I reckon all told they've had a year's every day use. Still in decent condition, don't get me wrong they're not the best boots I've ever had but they don't hurt my feet at the end of the day like many work boots I've had and they're pretty grippy. Would buy again.
  17. Some will scoff but I've got a pair of these and they're actually really good, surprisingly so for the money. Can wear them all day and also climb in them. Cofra Woodsman BIS class 1 chainsaw boot - Chainsaw Clothing - Protective Equipment - Workwear - Best Workwear WWW.BESTWORKWEAR.CO.UK Class 1 rated chainsaw boot at a great price
  18. This was end of 2019. Also, haven't ever experienced or even heard of people being refused service at petrol stations?! I use Tesco self service 99% of the time, including with combi cans, definitely never seen anyone checking to make sure the cans are legit. Then again, I live in Andover which is essentially a third world country, good chance the news hasn't reached us yet.
  19. I spent three weeks using Aspen every day and found the smell to be really sickly. Was pleased to go back to regular two stroke afterwards. But everyone speaks so highly of it maybe I should try it again?!
  20. This is gonna be my entry into electric top handles too. Glad to hear you're pleased with it! They seem to be highly rated.
  21. Good watch, thanks for sharing.
  22. I try to make life as easy for myself as possible and have been avoiding DRT because it was killing my elbows, but a foot ascender if you don't have one will definitely help. Hand ascender can be useful but I try to leave the bulk of the hard work to my legs. With that said, micro dot gloves help with fatigue, at least for me.
